South Forsyth War Eagles Youth Lacrosse

South Forsyth War Eagle Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping local kids grow as lacrosse players and as individuals. Through positive instruction, coaching and competition, we strive to help kids grow on and off the field. We are firmly committed to keeping lacrosse fun and accessible to boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.

We are trying something new for this fall!  South will be offering traditional league play for age groups that have met minimum registration numbers to form a team.  Alternatively, South and several of the other in county parks will be offering a clinic style format for their age groups that have fewer players.

For traditional league play practices will begin in Mid August, opening weekend for games in the Newtown league will  beginning in September and close out for the season being late October/early November.  New for this fall, player fees and jersey have been split out during registration.  We will be using the same jersey design from Spring 2024, so if your child played this spring or in Fall of 2023 and has a jersey that fits they can re-use it and you don't have to purchase a new one!  During registration, please make sure to select accordingly.

*Stay tuned for practice start information. Your coach/Team Mom (one will reach out after registration has closed) and Social Media will both be your avenues to stay up to speed.

For the age groups participating in clinic formats for this fall, you will have stick skill sessions on Friday night and Sunday team practices.  Each Sunday, we will be focusing on a new skill set to help improve individually and as a team player.  Each clinic player will receive one of our brand new South practice pennies included in their fees.  Player fees will also include a guaranteed slot for their age group in the FCYLA Sixes Jamboree(s) to be held in October.  Registration fee is $160/player.

Teams will practice will generally be at Joint Venture Park or other fields in the south part of Forsyth County.  Games will start after Labor Day and will conclude around the last week of October or early November.

Standard Registration ends on August 11th at midnight.  Jersey orders go in August 12th to guarantee delivery before first game.  Late registration may include additional fees to expedite jersey orders!
